A paced Uttarakhand route for experienced, prepared walkers
Indicative price: $3,500 - $4,800 per person
This is an active journey for international travelers who want walking, changing mountain landscapes, and time to notice everyday pilgrimage culture. It begins near Kainchi Dham, a temple complex outside Nainital in Kumaon, and continues by road through the hill towns of Uttarakhand toward the Nag Tibba trek near Mussoorie.
Walking is practical rather than symbolic: expect uneven paths, weather changes, and long road transfers. Quiet sitting, journaling, or simple breath awareness may be offered, but this is not a medical or therapeutic programme.
Arrive, adjust to hill travel, and visit Kainchi Dham respectfully; temple hours and access are subject to local conditions.
Drive between Kumaon settlements with short acclimatisation walks and time for local meals and markets.
The usual Nag Tibba approach starts from Pantwari. Distances, overnight arrangements, and the summit attempt depend on weather and trail conditions.
Return to Pantwari and continue toward Mussoorie, Dehradun, or Delhi as confirmed for the departure plan.
Nag Tibba is a moderate-to-challenging hike with sustained uphill and downhill walking. Ask the operator for current elevation, daily distance, guide arrangements, evacuation planning, and suitability before committing. The route, day plan, and advertised price are indicative and subject to operator confirmation.
